Abstract

The application of krypton and xenon in various branches from electronics and medicine up to space-rocket engineering continuously grows. Accordingly, manufacture at air separation plant of primary krypton concentrate, an unique product for reception of such gases, and also crude krypton are extends. Manufacture of these gases is highly profitable and so on tonnage air separation plants the manufacture of primary krypton concentrate is extrac-ted. Within last year six tonnage plants, making primary krypton concentrate are entered into operation. Reception of primary krypton concentrate and its subsequent separation on krypton and xenon is connected with number of specific factors, the neglect with which is the extremely dangerous. Concerns to such factors the opportunity of formation of explosive mixtures are considered in the article.
