Abstract

The characteristics of locking and control valves have influence over the basic parameters of process equipment in which medium flows in operation where, during various phases, conditions are adjusted at essentially changing pressure and temperatures. Wide numbers of ball valves for such specified conditions are made by «Habonim Industrial Valves and Actuators». Among the main advantages of Habonim valves — minimal hydraulic resistance, simplicity of design, safety in operation, and a quicker operation comparing to other kinds of valves. The article describes designs of ball valves for high pressures (series Н27) and also for cryogenic temperatures. It also discusses the «Profix» series control valves. Valves of this type could be produced with pneumatic actuator «CompACTII» for usage in automatic systems. The algorithm of formation of part numbers for cryogenic valves is included.
