Abstract

The estimation of application in Russia liquefied natural gas as motor fuel condition is given. The idea about necessity curtailment developments of vehicle synthetic and bio-fuels in Russia, for use of the liberated resources on speeding up of works on CNG is stated and proved. Various designs of automobile fuel tanks are considered and the results of cheaper and lighter cassette type of automobile fuel tanks based on polyurethane foam heat-insulation creation are given. The generalized complex quality indicator that considering relative mass of automobile fuel tank, fuel tank hold time and relative price of fuel tank is offered for estimation of cryogenic fuel tanks quality.
