Abstract

Self-acting valves are one of the most important and loaded components of reciprocating compressors. Correct design and choice of valves is the main key for good performance and as well as good economical characteristic of an operating compressor. We are kindly informing about a release of new type disc valves equipped with polymer working plates and steel damper plates. These valves are especially designed for third and forth stages of high speed and high pressure reciprocating compressors 4BM2,5-18/101. Aforementioned new type valves let to achieve much longer compressor maintenance intervals in comparison with before used Free Flow valves (PIK Type). Test results are confirms by the statements of end-users.
