Logistics modes for supply by industrial gases of users are reviewed. The usage of large scale cylinders on Central and Eastern European technical gases market is emphasized. Deterioration of the regional cylinder fleet and its upgrade through purchase of new and retested cylinders are analyzed. Alternative methods for cylinders requalification which are not used in CIS countries are proposed based on the foreign experience. Methods for select new vessels of cylinder fleets and RFID cylinder tracking applications are suggested to optimize logistics costs for gas operators.
