FEATURES OF PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION SMALL TONNAGE LNG-PLANTS

Abstract

In Russia, there is growing interest in creation of small tonnage LNG plants. This is explained by the emergence of new directions of using liquefied natural gas (LNG). The features and condition of the LNG market in Russia are considered, the analysis of small tonnage LNG plants schemes are made. Main attention is paid cost engineering to be conducted to evaluate the project's budget of LNG complex building. Technology of budget estimates is regulated by Association for the advancement of cost engineering (AACE). There shows the main stages the dual simplex budget estimates of the project. Based on experience in developing budgets to create small tonnage LNG plant with a capacity of 1 ... 20 t/h the distribution of capital expenses by category of expenditure on capital equipment is given.
