Abstract

There is a need for efficient and reliable thermostating systems designed to ensure the prelaunch activation and launch of carrier rockets and spacecrafts. The technical systems that ensure modules and fuel thermostating of the universal rocket complex of carrier rockets «Zenit», «Sea Launch», «Rokot» and «Angara» have been considered. The choice of the most efficient, reliable and easy to operate thermostating system developed by «Cryogenmash» JSC on the basis of an air refrigeration cycle with a turbo expander at the warm end has been justified. The description of the operational principle of the thermostating system has been presented.
