The structure of industrial gases production includes different heat transfer equipment that needs regular cleaning from various dirtying. Dirtying significantly affects the operation efficiency of the heat exchange equipment. The increase in the scum layer by 0,1...0,3 mm leads to a decrease in the heat transfer coefficient by 2,5 times. Meanwhile the relative efficiency of the heat exchanger is 60...70 %. In order to restore the efficient operation of the heat exchangers periodical cleaning the heat transfer surfaces from dirtying is needed. The complex of technologies and methods to fight with deposits of different nature and origin is considered. The main stages of carrying out the work has been described and recommendations for choosing chemicals and technological mode of their application have been given.
