BEHAVIOUR STRATEGIES AND THE PROCESS OF INTEGRATION INTO SOCIETY OF PEOPLE WITH SEVERE VISUAL IMPAIRMENTS

The article discusses the strategy of personal behavior as a psychological phenomenon that defines the person’s ability to overcome difficulties in life in different degrees of stress. It determines the strategies of adaptation of personality in problematic situations. Analyzed are the experimental results of research of the level of frustration of personality, coping behavior, needs in self-development and motives of dominance on the way to success or failure avoidance in individuals with severe visual impairment. It is proved that the awareness of their own ability to overcome the difficulties of life in people with severe visual impairments depend on severity and time of vision loss.
