PECULIARITIES OF TEACHING ENGLISH TO PRIMARY SCHOOL CHILDREN

The article deals with the peculiarities of teaching English to young learners and specifies the young learners' characteristics, needs and strengths in their cognitive, linguistic, and emotional aspects. It also explores the challenges that these characteristics might cause and what teachers should do to overcome them and deliver effective lessons for this age group.
