World experience of development of medicinal plant growing: ecological and economic aspects

Abstract

The world tendencies of development of medicinal plant growing are investigated. The ecological and economic prerequisites for a balanced use of the medicinal plant resource are analyzed. The main strategic directions of harmonization of the development of the relevant domestic sector with world trends have been identified.
