Abstract

The influence of meteorological factors on development of cercosporiose (Cercospora calendulae Sacc.) and alternaria (Alternaria calendulae Ondrej.) of calendula officinalis has been studied. It has been found that cercosporiose on this medicinal crop develops in conditions of excessive precipitation in the first half of the growing season of culture, while alternaria — due to insufficient moisture.
