Abstract

Optical absorption spectra of TlIn(S0.98Se0.02)2 single crystals under hydrostatic pressure were investigated in the temperature range of 160–340 K. Founded, that the absorption edge is increasing exponentially, it were explained using Urbach rule. Values and behavior of characteristic Urbach’s parameters in the regions of phase transitions paraelectric-incommensurate-ferroelectric were obtained.
