Abstract

The article presents the results of a study of the effectiveness of therapeutic massage in complex physical therapy of patients after vertebroplasty for uncomplicated compression fracture of the thoracic spine. The aim of the study was to assess the effect of therapeutic massage on the level of functional limitations according to the Oswestry Disability Index. Patients in the main group were treated with segmental reflex massage. It was found that the inclusion of segmental reflex massage in the physical therapy program contributes to the improvement of the functional state of patients after vertebroplasty.
