Abstract

The analysis of the causal factors of the formation of queues before intersections is conducted. The result of research is the mathematical model to determine the length of the queue before crossroads, which depends on the intensity of traffic on the roads to intersections, number of lanes, time of red signal and the ratio of time of green signal to the cycle time
