It is developed high-efficient algorithm for search and analysis of road signs. The work is based on the results of reviewing existing sources which describe given problem. There are described the most common steps in algorithm logic. There is designed, implemented and tested special program, which works on given algorithm. The results of testing show good recognition quality. Such program can be used as a part of driver assistance systems
