The formation of mathematical literacy of the future teacher of technology in the study of discipline “Higher mathematics”

The role of discipline "Higher Mathematics" in the formation of mathematical competence of the future teacher of technologies is described in this article; the psychological and pedagogical bases for the formation of the students’ mathematical knowledge and concepts during studying the discipline are shown. In the article the concept of innovation describes the specifics of teaching “Higher Mathematics” in Poltava national pedagogical university named after V. G. Korolenko
