Effect of Trigonella foenum graecum L. On the state of immunocompetent organs in conditions of diet-induced obesity in rats

It was investigated morphological parameters (weight, cellularity, histological analysis) of thymus and spleen and individual indicators of antioxidant defense (NO content and NO synthase (iNOS) in blood serum) in rats with experimental obesity. Consumption of fine powder Trigonella foenum graecum L. with high-calorie diet did a modulating effect on the content in blood serum and characteristics of immunocompetent organs
