Abstract


Performance characteristics of health institutions in the Northwestern economic region ofUkrainewere considered. The purpose of this paper is to identify modern performance characteristics of health institutions in the Northwestern eco­nomic region ofUkraine. During the study, the review of the territorial structure of health institutions in the Northwestern economic region ofUkrainewas carried out, the reformation problems were studied; the influence of the reformation of the territorial structure of health institutions on the population was characterized. The problems of development of health institutions in the region were analyzed. Special attention was paid to the specifics of the industry reformation in Volyn and Rivne regions. The main obstacles in financing of health institutions were found out. The research results allow to assess the real state of development of health institutions in Volyn and Rivne regions, in view of the industry reformation. The obtained results can be used for further research of performance problems of health institutions in the Northwestern economic region, and also can be taken into account in further reorganization of the territorial structure.
