The paper describes the methods for obtaining nanoscale copper compounds by the plasma-chemical treatment of aqueous solutions by a contact non-equilibrium low-temperature plasma of reduced pressure. The treatment process was carried out under the pressure of 15-20 kPa, the current strength of 10-140 mA and the voltage of 400 V in the laboratory plasma-chemical reactor. When treating the solutions of nitrate and copper sulphate in distilled water, mainly copper oxide compounds were obtained. The compounds similar in composition to malachite were obtained by the plasma-chemical treatment of copper nitrate with sodium bicarbonate in water. During the treatment processes, the possibility to influence the particles size formed by varying the conditions of treatment and drying was revealed. The feature of the process under study is the production of micro- and nanoscale compounds without the introduction of stabilizing additives.References
