Social and inclusive tourism in the system of socio-economic development of the state.

Abstract

The article is devoted to a comprehensive study of the social components of the tourism sector, which can be used in society to promote and support vulnerable categories of the population: socially disadvantaged groups, disabled persons, internally displaced persons, and many other categories for whom tourism can act as a direction of health improvement, psycho-emotional recovery, and a potential place of employment and labor activity.

Social tourism is the driver of social life that has the potential to contribute to solving numerous social and socio-economic problems of society that exist in modern realities. Social tourism is not only a mechanism for ensuring the right to vacation and freedom of travel for low-income groups, but also a resource for ensuring productive employment of the population of the territory, a tool for regional development, a mechanism for creating a positive image and popularizing a tourist destination. The socio-economic effects of tourism are studied, the factors of development of social tourism in the state are identified. The basic principles of the State social policy in the field of social tourism are defined. It is noted that an important component of social tourism is such a direction as inclusive tourism. The paper investigates the social and rehabilitation effects of tourism, which can contribute to the restoration of a significant part of Ukrainian society affected by unfavorable factors, primarily military actions.

The development of recreation and tourism is an important priority for the socio-economic development of Ukraine, a significant factor in the stabilization and structural adjustment of the national economy, significantly affecting both the expansion of human development opportunities and the solution of social problems of the population, including the provision of health and

 

recreation, and meaningful leisure. It is social tourism that is the driver of public life that has the potential to contribute to solving numerous social and socio-economic problems of society that exist in modern realities.
