Abstract

Concomitant diabetes mellitus greatly complicates the course of acute pyelonephritis, significantly affects the prognosis of the disease, and in–depth study of the pathogenetic features of these pathological conditions is an important task, as compared to the characteristics of structural changes in kidney tissues when simulating pyelonephritis in rats on the background of concomitant diabetes. In rats with acute pyelonephritis on the background of diabetes mellitus, pronounced structural abnormalities occurred in the cork layer of the kidney parenchyma with morphological manifestations of acute infectious inflammation and a tendency to form massive, confluent lesions, exciting and the medulla. The study of changes in kidney tissues when modeling acute pyelonephritis on the background of diabetes mellitus type I and II revealed pronounced structural abnormalities in the pith and medullary layers of the kidneys with morphological manifestations of early apoptosis processes. It is likely that the accompanying type I diabetes.
