USING PODCASTS TO ENHANCE STUDENTS’ LISTENING AND SPEAKING SKILLS

The advancement in information and technology has revolutionized English teaching and learning approaches. Podcasting is a new technology that has huge potential in enhancing ESL skills. The present article discusses the problem of using podcasts for the purpose of motivating students’ interest in learning English and boosting their listening and speaking skills. It has been shown that podcasts offer students a wide range of activities to improve their language proficiency which can be used both inside and outside of the classroom. The findings of our research might be helpful for students, teachers, and stakeholders to adopt this innovative technology for language learning and teaching.
