Archiving policy
The Editorial Board of the scientific journal “Balanced Nature Using” recognizes the critical importance of long-term preservation of scientific research results. Our strategy is aimed at ensuring permanent and uninterrupted access to published materials for the global scientific community.
Digital and Physical Archiving Strategy:
- Local electronic storage: All journal issues in full-text format are made openly accessible in the “Archive” section of the official journal website. To prevent data loss, we use secure servers with a daily backup procedure for the entire database and the OJS file system.
- Global preservation networks (PKP PN): In order to create a distributed archiving system, the journal is integrated into the PKP Preservation Network.
- State storage: Electronic copies of each publication are mandatorily transferred for storage to the Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine, where they are indexed in the relevant national repository.
- Printed copy preservation: The editorial office ensures the distribution of mandatory printed copies of the journal to leading libraries and collections in Ukraine in accordance with current legislation, guaranteeing the preservation of the print archive of the journal.
