MANAGEMENT DECISIONS IN THE FIELD OF HANDLING ANIMAL BY-PRODUCTS AND MANURE IN THE POULTRY INDUSTRY

The stage-by-stage algorithm of managerial decision-making in the sphere of utilization of animal by-products is theoretically substantiated and formed. manure in the field of poultry. The intensification of domestic production of poultry industry products causes more accumulation of by-products of production. Ukraine’s commitment to the European Union in this area brings to the fore the issue of preventing the accumulation of waste generated. As part of its commitments, the state has approved a «National Waste Management Strategy for Ukraine by 2030» aimed at addressing the problem of waste accumulation, including animal by-products in the poultry sector. The capacity of waste management companies in Ukraine is currently not fully recovered. Therefore, priority is given to equipping the poultry industry with waste treatment systems. Wastewater treatment and animal by-products systems are largely outdated at the enterprises, and no funding is allocated for their renewal, since all resources are aimed at expanding production. Management decisions regarding the disposal of animal by-products, including manure, in the poultry industry are quite important, both economically and environmentally. Choosing the right technology for recycling will help businesses overcome the problem of waste accumulation and become an additional item of their revenue.
