On the basis of scientific methodological approaches and own field studies, the peculiarities of nature
management within the limits of the Dniester pivot-meridional ecocorridor of the regional ecological network
of Podillya are considered. A detailed description is given and a functional-spatial analysis of this
connecting territory of the national level is carried out. It is substantiated that only the implementation of the
measures proposed by the author will allow to optimize the functional and spatial structure of the Dniester
wide-meridian ecocorridor in the structure of the ecological network, which will become the basic tool for
realization of the strategy of balanced development of the region. This will allow preservation and reproduction
of rare biodiversity, unique and representative landscapes with diverse flora and fauna, rerealization of
fragmented biogeocoenic cover, rational use of natural resource potential, optimization of land use, creation
of conditions for ecologically safe production of agricultural products, stabilization of ecological balance in
the region, improve the state of the environment, reduce the man-made load on the ecosystem we provide
seasonal migration, genetic exchange between different local populations, contribute to the development of
ecotourism, to conduct environmental and ecoeducational work among the local population.
