Calculation of wave fields for anisotropic media with absorption based on the reflective method

A stable method for calculating wave fields in horizontally layered anisotropic media on the basis of the reflectivity method is offered. For gradient media, a differential Riccati equation with coefficients defined by the perturbation method is derived.References
