In memory of Professor Ninel Ivanivna Pavlenkova (25.03.1929—20.02.2025)
Abstract
On February 20, 2025, Ninel Pavlenkova, an outstanding geophysicist who devoted her entire life to studying the structure of the Earth's crust and upper mantle using the method of deep seismic sounding (DSS), developing the method itself, and methods for interpreting and summarizing the obtained seismic data, passed away.
