Моделювання параметрів вогнища землетрусу 12 грудня 2018 р. (08:49:56,16; 36,4478° N; 140,5788° E; H = 62,0 км; Mw = 4,3, Японія)

Моделювання параметрів вогнища землетрусу, таких як орієнтація площини розриву та напрямок посувки на площині, є важливим для розуміння фізики процесів у ньому, визначення напружено-деформованого стану геологічного середовища та оцінювання сейсмічної небезпеки. Для моделювання параметрів вогнища землетрусу, що відбувся 12 грудня 2018 р. о 08 :49 :56,16 (UTC) в Японії (36,4478° N, 140,5788° E, регіон Northern Ibaraki Pref) на глибині 62 км магнітудою Mw = 4,3, застосовано обернення хвильових форм для визначення тензора сейсмічного моменту і зображення через фокальний механізм. Вогнище землетрусу розглянуто як точкове джерело сейсмічних хвиль, які поширюються у середовищі, представленому набором горизонтально-однорідних пружних шарів. На основі прямої задачі, яку розв’язують за допомогою матричного методу, з використанням розв’язку узагальненого обернення і виділенням лише прямих хвиль, застосовано алгоритм визначення компонент сейсмічного тензора. Вхідними даними для визначення компонент сейсмічного моменту обрано дані лише прямих P-хвиль зі спостережуваних записів на шести сейсмічних станціях японської локальної мережі NIED F-net: TSK, YMZ, ASI, ONS, SBT, KSK. Компоненти тензора сейсмічного моменту визначено через обернення хвильових форм за допомогою матричного методу. Проведено порівняння отриманих результатів, представлених фокальним механізмом, з результатами, отриманими Національним науково-дослідним інститутом наук про Землю, щодо стійкості до стихійних лих (NIED CMT solutions). У результаті порівняння механізмів вогнища зроблено висновок, що запропонований алгоритм визначення компонент тензора сейсмічного моменту можна застосовувати, якщо неможливо використати інший метод або необхідне певне уточнення для іншого методу. Особливо такий підхід актуальний для регіонів з невисоким рівнем сейсмічності та недостатньою кількістю станцій. Крім того, цей метод дає можливість зменшити вплив ефектів неточної моделі середовища, оскільки прямі хвилі зазнають набагато меншого спотворення, ніж відбиті й конвертовані, що, в свою чергу, підвищує точність і надійність методу.
