Про так звану «бузьку серію» Середнього Побужжя (Український щит). Стаття 1. Еволюція поглядів та склад «бузької серії»

Найменування «бузька серія» введено в стратиграфічну схему докембрію Українського щита понад півстоліття тому. Протягом цього періоду часу уявлення про склад і вік серії неодноразово змінювались, але донедавна незмінними залишалися думки різних дослідників про її стратигенну природу. В останні роки з’явилась низка публікацій, в яких висловлено інші погляди на походження «бузької серії». Спочатку вони стосувалися лише окремих петрографічних груп, таких як карбонатні і магнетитовмісні породи, яким приписувалося ендогенне (магматичне) походження. Пізніше з’явилась думка про нестратигенне походження всієї бузької серії, а деякі автори пропонують взагалі відмовитись від розділення ранньодокембрійських гранулітових комплексів на світи. Ці уявлення ґрунтуються тільки на матеріалах вивчення локальних об’єктів за результатами буріння та геофізичними методами, і висновки авторів не враховують результати регіональних геологічних і стратиграфічних досліджень. Водночас з новими уявленнями про генезис «бузької серії» робиться спроба пов’язати її походження з розломною тектонікою і переглянути вік серії.
В порядку обговорення проблеми «бузької серії» підготовлений цикл публікацій, в яких наводяться основні узагальнені результати багаторічних регіональних геологічних і тематичних досліджень стосовно складу, будови, структурної та стратиграфічної позиції підрозділів, які відносять до бузької серії. Цикл складається з трьох окремих статей. У цій першій публікації циклу розглянуто склад підрозділів і породних асоціацій, що включені до «бузької серії» у чинній стратиграфічній схемі докембрію Українського шита. Дані, наведені у цій статті та її продовженні, засвідчують, що природа підрозділів світи найімовірніше стратигенна. Здогадно ендогенні утворення не відіграють в них суттєвої ролі.
На думку автора, найменування «бузька серія» настільки часто і радикально змінювало свій зміст як щодо речовинного (породного) і стратиграфічного (посвітного) складу, так і стосовно вікової належності, а нині ще й уявлень про її генезис, що вже давно втратило свою стратиграфічну однозначність і валідність. У чинній стратиграфічній схемі докембрію Українського щита склад і вік «бузької серії» мають спотворений вигляд. Тому, відповідно до положень «Стратиграфічного кодексу України» та міжнародних стратиграфічних норм найменування «бузька серія» потрібно скасувати, а публікації про неї припинити, аж до прийняття нової стратиграфічної схеми докембрію Українського щита. У цій новій схемі стратиграфічне розчленування гранулітового комплексу Побужжя має бути повністю переглянуто.
