Abstract

The purpose of the work. The article reveals the specifics of the discovery of Friedrich Hölderlin's poetic images in the guitar pieces "Drei tentos" from the cycle of "Kammermusik 1958" by the German composer Hans Werner Henze. The research methodology is based on the use of phenomenological, comparative, structural and functional methods, which allow expanding the horizon of cognitive search and extract key characteristics of the studying phenomenon. The scientific novelty of the research lies in the phenomenological approach to the analysis of guitar works by H.W.Henze, unstudied in musicology. Phenomenological analysis of music touches on its deep links with the poetics of F. Holderlin‘s poem "In a cute blue", with the Greek mythology, as well as the visual associations of the composer. Conclusions. As a result of the analysis, genre interactions with the ancient Spanish examples of tento (ricercar), elements of modal thinking and polyphonic technique were revealed. The features of the rhythmic organization of the musical text associated with the ancient Greek metric of the verse in the poetry of F. Hölderlin are traced. Associations between the semantic units of poetry and musical speech and the conjugation of the elements of the language of the past and the present are established
