Purpose. The research involves search and study of modern kinetic installations in the landscape design. The problem is insignificant use of kinetic sculpture in Ukrainian landscape art. The methodology of the study lies in the to application of comparative and analytical research methods. This methodological approach reveals and analyzes the ability to create moving objects in order to find new dynamic forms for landscape installations and their use in the environment. Scientific novelty of the article consists in the extention the idea of the possibilities of modern sculpture, not only statics, but also dynamics with involvement of optical illusions. Analysis of the possibilities of modern technical devices significantly increases the design possibilities for the creation of landscape installations. Conclusions. Understanding the development of optical illusions in kinetic art and the use of not only man-made materials, electricity, natural properties of wind and water exhibit various foreign models of kinetic sculpture. Currently, foreign landscape industry is well developed in the application of kinetic installations in landscape art.
