Use of Images wreath in graphic design and advertising
Abstract
The purpose of the article is to analyze well-known examples of the use of ethnonyms and in particular the wreath as a symbol of the Ukrainian people in modern graphic design and advertising, to popularize Ukrainian culture by updating and promoting ethnodesigne. The methodology of the research is based on a complex combination of historical and cultural, comparative and color-graphic methods of analysis of illustrative material. Common scientific methods of narrative, synthesis, and analysis are used. The scientific novelty of the work is to expand the perceptions about the use of motives of Ukrainian culture in graphic design and advertising, in particular, the emphasis is on the use of wreaths and elements that are part of it as a separate symbol of Ukrainian ritual. The basic principles of the use of ethnomotypes in graphic design and advertising are investigated, the choice of the combination of color, forms, and solutions necessary for the creation of successful examples of printed advertising products is explored. Conclusions of the article highlight the results of the research, which have an important theoretical and practical significance for the further use of ethnomotypes in modern graphic design and advertising and popularization of Ukrainian culture. In this work, the spirit of patriotism and the call to worship and maintain Ukrainian traditions and the promotion of ethnic design is laid.
