Digital Painting: Formation and Prospects

The purpose of the article is to identify the features and show the significance of the formation and prospects of digital painting in the development of culture and education. The research methodology is to apply a specific historical method to analyse the impact of the development of computer technologies on the arts and design, as well as to use the method of comparative analysis and historical and cultural approach to help identify the main trends in the development of digital painting today. The scientific novelty lies in the fact that for the first time the influence of the introduction of computer technologies on the formation and prospects of digital painting is systematically analysed, which will allow us to show new innovative approaches in the artistic reflection of reality. Conclusions. It has been proven that digital technologies have radically changed the structure of art and design and determined the need to rethink and identify the novelty of computer graphics in the design of visual artistic image. It is established that the creation of artistic image with the help of computer graphics is relevant, as it provides new opportunities for conveying the author's thought in the work of art and design. The article, based on the analysis of the works of artists, scientists, shows the trends in the formation and development of digital painting and the prospects for this direction, as well as a thorough analysis of digital painting tools for constructing visual artistic image in design works and art.
