Purpose of the article. The purpose of the article is to analyze the choreographic reflections of the works of Ukrainian composers V. Hubarenko, M. Skoryk and E. Stankovych in the performances of A. Shekera and R. Poklitaru. Methodology. The methodology of the article is based on the principles of the complex interdisciplinary approach that allows us to use the achievements of cultural studies, philosophy, art history, history of culture, history and the theory of choreographic art. The author uses the following scientific methods: the historical and comparative method ( to review the development of national choreographic art in 1960-1991); the approach of analysis ( to highlight the essence of A. Shaker's essays on the works of Ukrainian composers); the method of hermeneutics (to consider the philosophical interpretation of human being in the choreographic performance of R. Poklitaru «Crossroads». Scientific Novelty. The scientific novelty of the article is to highlight the realization of the works of the prominent Ukrainian composers of the second half of the XXth - the beginning of the XXI st century (V. Hubarenko, M. Skoryk and E. Stankevych) in choreographic performances of the well-known Ukrainian choreographers A. Shekera as a representative of the classical ballet and R. Poklitar as the symbol of modern dance. Conclusions. Thus, the Ukrainian choreographic art of the second half of the XXth and beginning of the XXIst century attempted to synthesize modern choreographic tendencies with elements of national culture, involving a new generation of composers, who deviated from canonical classical standards in music. Their works showed the problems of the meaning of human existence and the existential problem of personality. V. Hubarenko, M. Skoryk, and E. Stankovych belong to such composers. This tendency embraced the classical ballet presented by the work of A. Shekera (Tsvit ferns, Kamenyari, Kamenny guest) and modern dance - R. Poklitaru and his ballet «Crossroads» on M. Skoryk’s violin concerts.
