Studies of pectin substrates as the adsorbents of aromatic compounds of essential oils

This article presents the perspective of gum arabic as an adsorbent of aromatic compounds of essential oils. Its adsorption properties were compared with apple pectin and beet pectin which were more selective. The stabilization of chemical content of essential oils has been proven in applying the gum arabic.
