The author investigated the socio-historical aspect, cultural and educational context of J. R. R. Tolkien`s moral personality`s upbringing concept, through the prism of educational concept is justified an educational ideal, its dependence on socio-historical, cultural and educational conditions, component of universal and multicultural values and a universal component. Morality as an educational ideal is based on moral ideas and their pedagogical tradition that fosters moral personality`s upbringing
