Psychological analysis of the stylistic features of protection at the preschool age

Abstract

The paper deals with the issue of protection as a special type of children’s prosocial activity. The present study analyzes the different styles of defending used by children in their interactions with peers. The results of observations and interviews have uncovered five main protection strategies in children’s interactions: the negative evaluation of the aggressor, physical confrontation, recourse to adult, threats or warnings, pointing out the rules
