В статті здійснено аналіз підручників з української мови як іноземної, досліджено специфіку використання цих підручників для навчання саме студентів з Туркменістану. Проаналізовано ефективність підручників та встановлено, що підручники з англійською мовою-посередником для туркменських студентів будуть неефективними, більш ефективними, але не завжди, будуть ті підручники, в яких мовою-посередником виступає російська мова
