Aims and Scope

Purpose  of the journal

Providing scientific support for the development of game sports, improving the educational process using sports and outdoor games by publishing the results of fundamental and applied research. We strive to consolidate the efforts of scientists, trainers and teachers in order to improve the system of training athletes, increase the level of physical activity of different segments of the population and promote a healthy lifestyle. The publication is a platform for testing the results of dissertations for the degrees of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and Doctor of Science.
 

Fields of knowledge and specialties (according to the state classifier):

  • A Education  (specialty A7  Physical Education and Sports ) - theory and methodology of professional education of coaches, innovative pedagogical technologies in sports games.
Main thematic areas
The editorial board accepts original articles covering the following issues:
    • Theory and training methodology:  optimization of the training process in team and individual game sports.
    • Medical and biological aspects:  control of functional status, recovery and adaptation of athletes' bodies to game loads.
    • Sports psychology:  development of cognitive skills, tactical thinking, stress resistance, and team interaction.
    • Physical education and recreation: the use of sports and outdoor games in schools, preschools, higher education institutions, and for the purpose of improving the health of the population.
    • Innovative technologies:  implementation of IT solutions, systems for analyzing technical and tactical actions, and modern equipment into game practice.

 

Main tasks

Approbation of scientific results.  Providing a high-quality platform for publishing the results of dissertation research for the degrees of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and Doctor of Science in specialty A7 "Physical Culture and Sports".

Interdisciplinary integration. Promoting the combination of efforts of scientists in the fields of physical education, sports, pedagogy, psychology, biomechanics, and management for comprehensive problem solving in game sports.  

Development of theory and methodology. Systematization of knowledge about modern training systems, tactical and technical innovations, and psychophysiological training of athletes.

Scientific support of professional activities. Providing theoretical support to trainers and teachers through the publication of advanced methods based on evidence-based principles.

Promoting open science.  Providing free and immediate access to scientific content (Gold Open Access) for the scientific community and practitioners around the world.
