Changes in indicators of training of statistics judges in basketball during the game season

Purpose: there is a definition of the effectiveness of the application of theoretical, physical, technical and practical training of referees-statisticians in basketball during the playing season. Participants: The study consists of 28 basketball referees-statisticians who work in Ukrainian basketball clubs (Zaporizhia, Dnipro, Lviv, Kharkiv), who were randomly divided into a control and an experimental group of 14 people, age 18-21 years old (woman). The experiment was conducted for 9 months from September 2021 to May 2022. At the beginning and at the end of the experiment, the judges were tested for physical and technical fitness. Methods: theoretical analysis and generalization of literary sources; survey; methods of mathematical statistics; testing (shuttle run 4x9 m, push-up for 30 s, torso forward tilt from a sitting position, jumping rope in 30 s, Romberg's test, long jump from a standing position, «Ruler» test, «Speed of actions in response to a certain tactical situation» test, «Reaction to a moving object» test, «Transposition of chips» test). Results: A questionnaire was conducted, the importance of theoretical, physical, technical and practical training of statisticians in basketball was clarified. Comprehensive training of statistician judges has been implemented, which combines work in the FIBA Live Stats statistics program with exercises for the development and improvement of various types of reactions. Theoretical and video tests have been developed, which are compiled on the basis of the manual for statisticians, the rules of conducting competitions, instructions for FIBA statisticians. Conclusions: a significant increase in indicators of reaction to an object and reaction to a certain tactical situation (p<0.01), in the experimental group these indicators are significantly higher compared to the athletes of the control group at the end of the experiment
