Abstract

Deals with international experience and trends of effective interaction between science and business. Described traditional model of technology transfer in the world's universities, and institutional problems arising in the course of its implementation. Disclosed ways to establish effective mechanisms for cooperation of science and business in Ukraine. Much attention is paid elucidation to the role and  the place of technology transfer network in university, including in Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. Shown, that statistics patenting by universities has been steadily increasing, especially in Asian countries, but only a small percentage of declared patents is profitable. Investigated policy of countries in concerning the definition property rights of university inventions. The analyzed influence of public institutions on the development of technology transfer. The established institutions of technology transfer and ways of institutional frameworks as a major factor in support of scientists. Defined the infrastructural imbalances, reflecting the institutional imbalance in the development of innovative processes Ukrainian economy. The determined stimulating factors to enhance the generating of innovation in modern Ukrainian economy.
