The article defines the role of the construction industry in the country's national economy, examines the sectoral features of the functioning of construction enterprises, notes the impact of the economic crisis on their economic activities and the level of economic security. In the course of the study, two main groups of methods for determining the level of economic security and their features were established; the optimal functional components of the economic security of construction enterprises were specified and it was revealed that the financial component is the most sensitive to the negative influence of external and internal factors. In this regard, a methodical approach to modeling the financial component of the model of economic security of construction enterprises was proposed, according to which, using mathematical statistics, regression analysis and differential calculus, the indicators applicable in the analysis of financial stability and diagnostics of economic security of construction enterprises, taking into account the specifics of the organization of finance, due to the technical and economic characteristics of the industry. The obtained results allow to deepen and broaden the theoretical and methodological foundations of modeling the financial component of economic security of construction industry enterprises, and also contribute to improving the efficiency of the construction company management system, taking into account industry specifics in conditions of uncertainty and risk.
