Semenihin G. Innovation activity in Ukraine. Problems and ways of their overcoming

Abstract

The innovation activity was investigated in view of world tendencies, connected with globalization of economy, appearing of knowledge’s economy and  internationalization of economic relations. The problems and means of creation of conditions for conducting of innovation activity in Ukraine were considered. Special attention of investigation of innovation processes in world and national economy was given, the perspective directions of innovation activity were marked that capable to produce competitive goods. Special focus was made for that innovation activity of any country depends on effective innovation policy, availability of relating resources, internationalization of fundamental and applied researches in up-to-date technologies field. Estimated that innovation activity has global character and covered practically all countries of world. The principal directions of innovation development and possibility of Ukraine to enter in these processes were shown. It was displayed that innovation activity allows to introduce into national production up-to-date scientific and technical developments, to increase the employment of population, to increase of economic potential of country, to saturate inner market with high quality production and to compete on equal footing at international market. It was proved that to guarantee for national economy the appearance to innovation way of development can only the system of modern knowledge, technological progress and system of supporting of science by state by way of effective economic policy, creation of conditions for economic growth. The recommendations were given for conducting of group of actions and it was suggested the model of innovation process as tools that allowed to increase the innovation activity in Ukraine
