The article examines the impact of transformations in the Ukrainian banking sector on the financial activities of enterprises in 2023. The study is based on an analysis of changes in the structure of banks, their assets and liabilities, as well as financial indicators. In particular, it was found that the growth of bank assets was primarily driven by investments in government securities and international financial assistance. However, the reduction in lending volumes to the real sector raises concerns about the long-term stability of the economy.
Special attention is paid to the analysis of structural imbalances between the financial and real sectors caused by the concentration of international support in the financial sphere. The author emphasizes the need for reforms aimed at balanced economic development, stimulation of the industrial and agricultural sectors, and enhanced control over the use of international assistance. In conclusion, recommendations are proposed to minimize risks and ensure sustainable development of the country.
