Abstract

The article defines the foundations of social entrepreneurship as an innovative model aimed at solving employment problems in Ukraine. The essence of social entrepreneurship, its impact on improving the socio-economic situation and promoting sustainable development of the country is studied. The key aspects of the functioning of social enterprises, in particular their mission, strategies for implementing social initiatives and peculiarities of interaction with the external environment are considered. A conceptual model for the development of social entrepreneurship in Ukraine, improvement of the legislative framework, stimulation of state support and promotion of cooperation between key stakeholders to create sustainable social change is proposed.
