Abstract

In the article significance of knowledge for the enterprises of marine branch is reasonable, after all the important feature of the enterprises of navigation is the close connection with many areas. On the basis of researches of American firm KPMG Consulting throughout 2008 - 2010 of a condition of a control system by knowledge in the different enterprises of the world it has been established the purposes which put before itself the enterprises, introducing into activity system of management of knowledge. So, the investigated enterprises a main purpose have noted increase of competitive advantages. Thus, protection and improvement of a competitive item demand constant training and perception of knowledge. The international practice knows many enterprises of a sea transport which have already introduced a control system of knowledge in the activity and have received positive result. Research of practice of activity of the greatest ports of the world which already during significant time skilfully apply system of management of knowledge became acknowledgement of this fact. It is defined that to components of a control system of knowledge carry: the human factor, technological possibilities and organizational work. It is established that main purposes of introduction of system of management of knowledge at the enterprises of marine area is profit increases, labour productivity growth, growth of satisfaction of clients, growth of a level of development of workers, etc. Therefore it was pertinent to conduct research of these indicators. Consideration of directions of functioning of system of management of knowledge in four greatest ports of the world, has allowed to draw a conclusion that introduction of management of knowledge considerably increases competitiveness level. This fact it has been confirmed by the quantitative data. After all, all considered ports show high indicators of activity.
