
International Standards and Ethical Principles
The editorial policy of the journal is based on internationally recognized standards of academic integrity and strict adherence to ethical principles of scholarly publishing. In its activities, the editorial board follows the guidelines of leading global organizations:
COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics): We implement COPE guidelines to ensure transparency of the editorial process, prevent misconduct, and provide an objective review of appeals and conflicts of interest.
WAME (World Association of Medical Editors): Despite its medical focus, the journal applies WAME’s general standards of editorial independence and ethical management. This ensures that publication decisions are made solely on the basis of the scientific merit of the manuscripts, free from any external administrative or commercial influence.
DORA (San Francisco Declaration on Research Assessment): The journal supports the principles of DORA. We emphasize qualitative expert evaluation of each manuscript, considering the quality of research output to be more important than formal quantitative journal metrics.
