Access and Archiving Policy
- Open Access Policy

The journal «Reporter of the Priazovskyi State Technical University. Section: Technical Sciences» adheres to the Gold Open Access policy. All articles are made available to readers in full-text format immediately upon their publication on the journal's official website without any time restrictions (embargo).
We are guided by the definition of open access according to the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI): by «open access» to scientific literature, we mean its free availability on the public internet, permitting any users to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of these articles, crawl them for indexing, pass them as data to software, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without financial, legal, or technical barriers.
There are no subscription fees or pay-per-view charges for readers. Open access contributes to the global exchange of knowledge and increases the citability of our authors' research results.
- Licensing and Copyright

All materials in the journal are distributed under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC-BY 4.0) license.
Authors retain unrestricted copyright and grant the journal the right of first publication. The license allows others to distribute, edit, adapt, and build upon the published materials (even for commercial purposes), provided that appropriate credit is given to the original author(s) and a link to the original publication in this journal is provided.
- Archiving Policy and Digital Security
The publisher ensures the guaranteed long-term preservation of published content through the following mechanisms:
- National Storage: All issues of the journal are archived and stored in the funds of the V. I. Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine (Kyiv, Ukraine).
- PKP PN Network: The journal supports the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN). This service provides digital preservation of archives through integration with the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) system.
- LOCKSS guarantees decentralized storage and continuous access to the original version of the content. In the event that the journal's server fails or ceases operation, copies of the articles will remain accessible through the LOCKSS archive network.
- Self-Archiving and Deposition Policy
The publisher allows and encourages authors to store (deposit) copies of their work in institutional or thematic repositories, on personal websites, and in scientific social networks.
Deposition Terms:
- Versions for Deposition: Authors may make available in open access both the Author’s Accepted Manuscript (AAM) and the final Version of Record (VoR).
- Timelines (No Embargo): The journal does not establish embargo periods. Deposition of the AAM is possible immediately after the article is accepted for publication, and the Version of Record – immediately after its release on the journal's website.
- Linking Requirements: 1. If deposition occurs before the official release of the issue, the author must state that the article has been «Accepted for publication in the Reporter of the PSTU. Section: Technical Sciences». 2. After official publication, the author is obliged to update the record in the repository by adding full bibliographic information about the article, an active link to the official article page on the journal's website, and its DOI identifier.
- Open Research Data Policy
The journal encourages authors to share their primary research results in accordance with the FAIR principles (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable). The Editorial Board recommends depositing research data sets into reliable institutional, national, and/or international repositories (e.g., Zenodo, Figshare, etc.). The presence of such data sets must be reflected in the article's metadata, with the mandatory inclusion of the DOI for these data.
