
Privacy Policy
The Editorial Board of the «Reporter of the Priazovskyi State Technical University. Section: Economic Sciences» ensures the highest level of personal data protection and confidentiality of scientific research. Our activities are based on the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the ethical principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and the current legislation of Ukraine, in particular the Law «On Protection of Personal Data» No. 2297-VI.
1. Collection and Processing of Personal Data
In accordance with the GDPR provisions, the Editorial Board carries out transparent collection of only the information necessary to ensure the editorial and publishing cycle:
Data collected: Full name, academic degree, academic title, position, full name of the institution (affiliation), city, country, ORCID identifier, and contact e-mail address.
Purpose of processing: Maintaining correspondence, providing independent peer review, indexing articles in scientometric databases, and disseminating scientific information.
Right to control: Users have the right to access their personal data, correct them, or request deletion (unless this contradicts the requirements for archiving scientific publications).
Security: The Editorial Board guarantees that personal data (phone numbers, home addresses) will not be transferred to third parties for marketing or commercial purposes.
2. Confidentiality of the Scientific Manuscript
According to the COPE Core Practices, the Editorial Board guarantees strict confidentiality at all stages of manuscript consideration:
Manuscript Status: Any manuscript received by the Editorial Board is treated as a confidential object of intellectual property. The Editorial Board does not disclose information about the article to anyone other than those directly involved in the editorial process.
Anonymity of Review: The use of the double-blind peer review model ensures the anonymity of authors and reviewers, which minimizes bias.
Prohibition of Data Use: In accordance with the COPE guidance on confidentiality, reviewers and editorial board members may not use unpublished data or ideas from submitted manuscripts in their own research without the written consent of the author.
3. Publicity and Metadata
Authors agree that if the article is accepted for publication, the following metadata will be published in open access to ensure scientific communication and indexing:
Full name of the author(s);
Full name of the institution (affiliation), city, and country, academic degree, academic rank, and position of the author(s);
ORCID identifier (as an active link);
Contact e-mail address.
4. Data Storage and Protection
Storage period: Data are stored throughout the entire period of the journal's existence to maintain the integrity of scientific archives.
Access: Only authorized editorial staff have access to the full database.
Data transfer: The transfer of information to third parties (international databases) is carried out exclusively within the framework of the standard procedure for indexing scientific works.
5. Author's Consent
By submitting a manuscript via the online submission system or to the journal's e-mail address, the author confirms their full agreement with this Privacy Policy and grants permission for the processing of personal data in the specified scope.
